1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General
Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in Development
Business, issue no. 636 of August 16, 2004.
2. The Republic of Serbia - Republic Geodetic
Authority (RGZ) has received a credit from the International
Development Association toward the cost of Real Estate Cadastre and
Registration Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds
of this credit to payments under the Contract for Procurement of IT
Equipment, Bid No. SAM-RECRP-YF3908-ICB-G-11-237.
3. The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of
Republic Geodetic Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible
and qualified bidders for Procurement of IT Equipment:

4. Bidding will be conducted through the International Competitive
Bidding (ICB) procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines:
Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits, and is open to all
bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the Guidelines.
5. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from
the Project Implementation Unit of Republic Geodetic Authority and
inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from 09:00
to 15:00 hours.
6. Qualifications requirements include:
The bidder (Manufacturer and the Agent if the latter submits the
bid under manufacturer’s authorization as per form 6) must
demonstrate that it has successfully completed at least three
contracts for goods offered involving not less than 70% of requested
quantities during past 3 years.

The successful bidder must have, at the time of contract
signature, the following support capabilities, during the warranty
period:
Help-Desk telephone service with automatic problems application must
be active 24 hours, every day.
For problems that cannot be resolved by telephone that are notified
within 8:00am-8:00pm Monday through Sunday, qualified service
personnel must be able to arrive on-site within 24 hours of problem
escalation.
The maximum acceptable delay for the repair (or replacement) and
restoration to full operational use is 30 working days from
notification, provided that the Bidder temporarily provides adequate
unit or equipment and puts it into operation within 1 working day.

Authorization certificate from the manufacturer of the equipment
for the qualified person who will be performing the servicing of the
equipment.
A margin of preference for certain goods manufactured domestically
shall not be applied. Additional details are provided in the Bidding
Documents.
7. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased
by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to
the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee Euro 100
or in Serbian Dinars based on the selling exchange rate published by
the National Bank of Serbia on the date of payment. The method of
payment will be:

stating: RGZ/PIU Tender ICB-G-11-237. |

Foreign bidders shall pay a nonrefundable fee of 100 Euros

| There will be no pre-bid meeting for potential bidders. |
The Bidding Documents will be sent by airmail for overseas delivery
and surface mail or courier for local delivery.
8. Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before Tuesday,
August 23rd, 2011. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late
bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the
bidders’ representatives who choose to attend in person at the
address below at 12:15 local time on Tuesday, August 23rd, 2011, in
the PIU office. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of
EUR 8,000.00 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible
currency.
