This invitation for bids follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business, issue No. 636 of August 16, 2004.

The Republic of Serbia - Republic Geodetic Authority has received a credit from the International Development Association toward the cost of the Real Estate Cadastre and Registration Project, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for procurement of Office Furniture, Bid No.: SAM-RECRP-YF3908-ICB-G-09-209.

Bidders have the option to bid for any one or both lots, but they must quote for complete requirements in each lot.

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ) now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for office furniture.

Bidding will be conducted through the international competitive bidding procedures specified in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Procurement under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits and is open to all bidders from eligible source countries as defined in the Guidelines.
Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from the Project Implementation Unit of Republic Geodetic Authority and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below from 09:00 to 15:00 hours.

A complete set of bidding documents, available in English only, may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written application to the address above and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee Euro 100 or equivalent in Serbian Dinars based on the selling exchange rate published by the National Bank of Serbia on the date of payment.

Domestic Bidders shall make payment to the Government Treasury Account no.: 840-1620-21 with reference number 40600-04410-742321, stating: RGZ/PIU Tender ICB-G-09-209.

Foreign bidders shall pay a nonrefundable fee of 100 Euros according to following payment instructions:

Transfer costs are on bider’s account.

Bids must be delivered to the address below at or before August 18, 2009, 12:00 Noon, local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of: EUR 2,000.00 for lot 1 and EUR 500.00 for lot 2 or an equivalent amount in a freely convertible currency. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 12:15 local time on August 18, 2009 in the Conference room at the 5th floor.
