Expressions of Interest

This request for expressions of interest follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. 636 of August 16, 2004.

Republic of Serbia / The Republic Geodetic Authority (RGZ) has received a credit from the International Development Association for the realization of the Real Estate Cadastre and Registration Project (RECRP) and intends to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for:

• Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant of the Project Implementation Unit.

The services of Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant include preparation of: amended project monitoring report format, reports on performance indicators, reports integrating the results of the performed monitoring and evaluation activities, quarterly reports etc. Implementation period is up to 18 months.

For Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant following is required: university degree; a demonstrated awareness of the relationship between the community and land rights, responsibilities and restrictions; familiarity with Land Administration activities, experience in conducting social analysis and economic surveys and leading such investigations; experience in implementation of projects financed by the World Bank or the EU; familiarity with procedures of the World Bank and the EU; experience of working with a government or government agencies; computer literacy, including familiarity in the use of MS software (Word, Excel, Project); good Serbian and English language skills both spoken and written.

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Republic Geodetic Authority now invites eligible individual consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above mentioned services. Interested consultants must provide Cover Letter and CV representing description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and availability of appropriate skills.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the IC procedure set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised September 1997, January 1999 and May 2002).

Expressions of interest in English language must be delivered to the address below by August 25, 2009.
