Information Booklet on the work of the Republic Geodetic Authority

In order to introduce the work of the Republic Geodetic Authority to the public, in mid-May 2003, the first Information Booklet of the RGA was prepared.

The Information Booklet on the work of the Republic Geodetic Authority is published in accordance with Article 39 of the Law on Free Access to Information of Public Importance (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No.120/04 and 54/07) and the Instructions for publishing information booklet on the public institutions work (Official Gazette of the Republic of Serbia, No.57/05).

The purpose of publishing Information Booklet is informing the public about documents and information which are owned by, or are at disposal of the Republic Geodetic Authority within its field of work.

Information Booklet contains data that are of importance for the content, scope and manner of exercising the rights of persons interested in accessing information of public importance. In this way, all potential service users and associates are informed about the most relevant issues, at the same time having the starting point for further information search.

We hope that the Information Booklet of the Republic Geodetic Authority will also be useful for other organisations, such as the Serbian Surveyors Union, the Private Geodetic Organisations Union, the Institute for Geodesy and Geoinformatics of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, the Military Geographical Institute, numerous private geodetic organisations and other institutions which can promote the development of the profession and its even more successful activities, to the benefit of the nation and its citizens.
