Expressions of Interest

This request for expressions of interest follows the general procurement notice for this project that appeared in Development Business No. XXX of May 9, 2011.

Republic of Serbia / The Serbian Republic Geodetic Authority have received a credit from the International Development Association for the realization of the Real Estate Cadastre and Registration Project and intend to apply part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contracts for:

Procurement Officer of the Project Implementation Unit

The services of Procurement Officer include preparation of procurement reports and plans, participation in preparation of tender documentation and successful implementation of all components of the project including contracting, reporting etc. Implementation period is up to three years.

For Procurement Officer following is required: university degree; basic understanding of surveying and related fields; familiarity with computers (OS Windows, MS Project, MS Office, and Internet); good knowledge of procurement procedures according to World Bank or EU; fluency in both Serbian and English (written and spoken); ability to drive and possession of a valid driver’s license.

The Project Implementation Unit (PIU) of the Republic Geodetic Authority now invites eligible consultants to indicate their interest in providing the above mentioned services. Interested consultants must provide Cover Letter and CV representing description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions and availability of appropriate skills.

A consultant will be selected in accordance with the IC procedure set out in the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers, January 1997 (revised September 1997, January 1999 and May 2002).

Expressions of interest in English language must be delivered to the address below by May 26, 2011, 12:00 AM.
