Preliminary meeting of the NSDI Workgroups
The preliminary meeting of the NSDI Workgroups was held on 10th July 2012
Chairmen and deputies of the NSDI Workgroups
held the meeting in order to prepare next meeting of the Workgroups.
Previously discussed documents (review of legal
regulation in geodata field and policy for the exchange and
distribution of geodata) were prepared and amended according to the
remarks and comments of members of Workgroups. The way of acceptance
of documents proposals and their further updates was discussed.
Based on the received submissions of the NSDI stakeholders the
decisions about termination of the membership and election of new
members of the Workgroups were prepared. The method of distribution
of the questionnaire related to the analysis of the situation in
geodata field was agreed, as well as the list of
institutions/organizations which will be invited to fill the
questionnaire.
Besides, the role of the Workgroups in
preparation of the NSDI Council meeting was determined. Also, the
annual plan of further activities of the Workgroups was proposed.
