Questionnaire on the current state in geo-sector
NSDI stakeholders and other NSDI parties are invited to collect information on the current state in Geo-sector by filling out the questionnaire.
NSDI working groups have created questionnaire
which will use as an instrument for collection of information
obtained from NSDI stakeholders and other participants, in order to
perceive current state and needs for further development in
geo-sector. Information collected by questionnaire will be used to
analyze existing spatial data sets, available capacities for their
production and maintenance, the ways of cooperation among NSDI
subjects, standards implementation, as for the realizing needs for
further enhancement of the spatial data and services. In addition to
this, results of the questionnaire will be used for production of
documents for defining NSDI technical framework. Collected data will
be used only for above mentioned purposes.
Chairman of NSDI Council has invited the
Ministries, specialised organizations, agencies, public companies,
institutions of the territorial autonomy and local governments,
scientific and educational institutions, organizations which produce
and use spatial data and other relevant public services to collect
data under its jurisdiction and to provide answers to the given
questionnaire.
It is planned that filling out the
questionnaire will be performed using web form in order to collect
information in the database and to facilitate analysis of the
results. The account is required to access the questionnaire web
form. Together with invitation letter for filling out the
questionnaire, the public institutions and other invited parties
will gain user name and password necessary for access to
questionnaire. Other interested parties can contact us by address
nigp.saradnja@rgz.gov.rs in order to get rights to access the
questionnaire.
The questionnaire contains 33 questions grouped
by topics: information about organization, spatial data, cooperation
among NSDI stakeholders, standardization and other. Each topic is
presented on the different web page.
Deadline for filling out the questionnaire is
1st October 2012.
If you have additional questions regarding the
questionnaire please address it to the Republic Geodetic Authority,
Sector for information and communication.
We are kindly asking NSDI stakeholders and
other interested organizations to contribute in the realizing of the
state of art in the geo-sector, identification and analysis of needs
necessary for further NSDI development.
